A powder shaker applies a fine, consistent layer of adhesive powder to the film after the image is printed, which is then heated and cooled before being rolled up. Traditionally, without a Powder Shaker, you would manually sprinkle adhesive powder onto the film and then melt it by putting it in an oven.
